1 Scope


This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, labels, operation instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of sodium dichloroisocyanurate of our factory.


This standard is applicable to the sodium dichloroisocyanurate produced from cyanuric acid, caustic soda, chlorine, sodium bicarbonate and anhydrous sodium carbonate.

3.1 sensory index


This product is white powder or granule, which gives off the pungent smell of sodium hypochlorite.

4 test method


4.1 appearance


Visual inspection in normal light.


4.2 determination of effective chlorine content


4.2.1 prepare 2mol / L sulfuric acid solution and 10% potassium iodide 0.5 starch solution. Prepare and calibrate 0.1mol/l sodium thiosulfate titration solution.


4.2.2 accurately weigh 1g (accurate to 0.001g) into beaker and dissolve it with distilled water, then transfer it into 100ml volumetric flask. The weighing cup and beaker shall be washed with distilled water for three times, and all the washing liquid shall be transferred into the volumetric flask.


4.2.3 add 10ml of 2mol / L sulfuric acid and 10ml of mixed disinfectant diluent to 100ml iodine volumetric flask. At this time, the solution appears brown. Cover and shake well, add a few drops of distilled water to the edge of the iodine measuring bottle, and place in the dark for 5min. Open the lid and allow distilled water from the lid edge to flow into the bottle. Titrate the free iodine with sodium thiosulfate titrant (in 25ml buret), and shake it up while dropping. When the solution is light yellow, add 10 drops of 0.5% starch solution, and the solution immediately turns blue. Continue to titrate until the blue disappears, record the total amount of sodium thiosulfate titrant used, and calibrate the titration result with blank test. Repeat the test three times, take the average value of three times for calculation.


4.2.4 because 1ml of 1mol / L sodium thiosulfate titration solution is equivalent to 0.03545g of effective chlorine, the effective chlorine content can be calculated according to the following formula.


Effective chlorine content (g / 100g) = C × VST × 0.03545 ÷ m × 100% ---- - (1)


C ------- concentration of sodium thiosulfate titration solution (mol / L);


VST refers to ml of sodium hyposulfite titration solution for titration;


M ------ g of the original disinfectant contained in the iodine measuring bottle;


V -------- ml of original liquid containing liquid disinfectant in electric quantity bottle.


4.3 determination of pH value


According to the method specified in Pharmacopoeia of the people's Republic of China, 2005 edition, appendix viig pH value.


4.4 determination of water content


According to 2.2 of GB / t6284-1986.


4.5 determination of solubility


Weigh 25g (accurate to 0.01g) of the sample and put it into a 250ml conical flask, add 100ml of distilled water, then plug the rubber stopper, insert a fine glass tube and a thermometer on the rubber stopper respectively, put them into a 25 ℃ water bath, keep the constant temperature for 20min-30min, and observe whether the sample in the conical flask is completely dissolved, clear and transparent. If there are emulsions or floccules, they cannot meet the requirements of this standard.


4.6 the disinfection effect shall be determined in accordance with the relevant provisions of the technical specifications for disinfection issued by the Ministry of health.


4.7 the toxicological safety shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the technical specifications for disinfection issued by the Ministry of health.


5 inspection rules


5.1 delivery inspection


Sodium dichloroisocyanurate products are inspected by the inspection department of the manufacturer and can be delivered only after passing the inspection. The factory inspection items are: effective chlorine content, pH value of 1% aqueous solution and moisture content.


5.2 batches


Take each reaction cycle as a batch.


5.3 sampling method


A rigid plastic tube with an inner diameter of 10 mm to 25 mm shall be used for sampling, and three quarters of the depth shall be vertically inserted along the packaging container from three points on each packaging bag, and the sample shall be taken. Shake the sample carefully, and then shrink it to no less than 0.5kg by quartering method, and pack it in two clean and dry grinded bottles, one bottle for analysis and test, and one bottle for future reference. The product name, batch number, production date and sampling person shall be indicated on the bottle.


5.4 sampling quantity


The sample quantity shall be extracted according to the sampling proportion standard, and the sampling proportion is shown in Table 2.

5.5 form inspection


In the following three cases, formal inspection must be carried out. The formal inspection items are all items in Chapter 3.


(a) When the raw material or process changes;


(b) When the production is resumed after the shutdown for more than one year;


(c) When the quality supervision department puts forward the requirements for sampling inspection.


5.6 judgment rules


If one of the inspection results is unqualified, double samples shall be taken for re inspection. If the re inspection result is unqualified, the batch of products shall be judged as unqualified.
